Prior to the upgrade, the workshop relied primarily on forklifts and manual lifting for mould handling. As mould sizes increased (with individual pieces weighing approximately 0.2–1 ton), the existing methods began to suffer from low efficiency, inaccurate positioning and significant safety risks, making it difficult to meet the demands of precision assembly.

To address this, the client introduced a customised, portable small gantry crane to replace traditional handling methods. This enables flexible lifting and precise positioning across multiple workstations, effectively enhancing overall production efficiency and assembly stability.
